PIRATES OUTLAWS 2: HERITAGE

Ahoy Mateys, the studio is working on the new game “Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage”. The game is still in the early stages of development (no release date is planned yet and we will try to share some gameplay footages when we are ready) but there are already several mechanics and new features that we would like to share with the community.

WHAT’S NOT CHANGING:

First, it’s still a single player roguelike card deck builder for mobile and PC. The game will have and keep 2 main modes: Campaign (Navigate - exploration) and Arena. New unlock contents will directly be added to the Arena reward pool. The base of the battle will remain essentially unchanged except for the new actions of the enemies which are related to a new countdown system. (ref. Port Elysia Enemies' CD ability) To maintain the identity of Pirates Outlaws, we keep some emblematic base game mechanics like a single condition system, ammo, max 6 hand, melee-ranged-skill card features, curses, enemies’ races...

WHAT’S NEW:

  • The main story revolves around 1 new single hero, years after Pirates Outlaws 1 timeline events.

  • Our Hero has several special attributes with premade starter decks and unique ability cards.

  • To create a wide variety of combos, at the start of each journey, players will be able to select a Companion who can add unique ability cards to the hero's starter deck.

  • The Ability cards of Hero and Companion are major gameplay changes to player deck build and its strategy. The cars bring new functions such as “affect adjacent cards”, “Count Down” …

  • After the battle, players can select up to 3 cards or skip all the rewards.

  • Outside of combat, when 3 identical cards are collected, they fuse. Then, player can select a higher-level card according to an evolution tree with 2 choices. (Greatly reducing the amount of “trash” cards)

  • Cards be upgraded or evolved up to level 3*.

  • Relics won’t appear in the after-battle rewards and can only be purchased in Markets, earned in Events or after a “Boss” battle.

  • Several Relics belong to Outfits. Once fully collected, players will gain the Outfit additional passive bonus.

  • The new Countdown enemy action system will affect the entire game battle experience. The button “End a Turn” is replaced by the button “ReDraw”.

  • New Armor/Shield system.

WHAT’S IMPROVED:

  • Chapters and Quests fuse into 1 progressive game mode: Campaign.

  • The map is in a single stage, generated based on the selected Quest (small, medium, and large). Players can move forward or backward in premade paths from one island to another, taking part in battles, markets, taverns......

  • The battle difficulty progressively increases battle after battle. Your journey will also be affected by random generated events.

  • Relics can be Upgraded* in a Great Bazaar (except for some specific Relics*).

  • Improved and dynamic enemy path of actions.

NOTES: The game is still in progress. A lot of content is still incomplete and uncertain. We will also make adjustments and improvements in the future according to feedbacks and we consider it a necessary. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Players, thank you for your support playing Spiritle. Unfortunately, the game will end this Season and the game will no longer be available to download as well as all related contents.

After several internal attempt to fix the game and bring an interest, I must admit it’s a failure. Spiritle must be redesigned and completely reworked if we want to improve it or potentially to release it again.

It is with great regret that the decision to shut down was taken. And the Studio can only emerge strengthened from it.
